About Us

The Buccaneer is based out of Snoopy's Pier in North Padre Island, Texas and she can accommodate up to 41 passengers. Originally used as a deep sea fishing vessel, the Buccaneer is designed to cruise comfortably through the water of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.  Our Head Captain, Robbie Bush is native to the NPI area and has been navigating the ocean as a Captain for many years.  Buccaneer Cruises is family owned and operated.

Just under 50 feet and constructed in 2004 she made her Grand Opening as a tourism vessel in 2023, here in North Padre Island. The Buccaneer is proud to be part of the Coastal Bend community and excited to be  the premier tour boat in NPI hosting all of the families visiting and local to our island.

 The Bay King is 55ft of bay fishing excellence! For many years this vessel fished the waters of the lower Laguna Madre out of South Padre Island. On March 2024, this legend made its way to the upper Laguna Madre to call North Padre Island it’s new home.

The Bay King is based out of Marker 37 in North Padre Island. While the Boat can accommodate up to 49 passengers, we will limit this number to around 25 to leave room for fishing. The Bay King's Head Captain Is Omar Salinas. Omar has proven himself to be one of the best fisherman in the Coastal Bend. Coming from a family of Captains and fisherman, there is no other person you want behind the helm when aspiring for a successful day of fishing.
